Iran film ‘Namo’ to attend 2020 Berlinale

Iranian feature ‘Namo’ is to attend the Berlin Int'l Film Festival in Germany.

Iranian feature film ‘Namo’ has been set to attend the Berlin International Film Festival in Germany.

The film which is Nader Saeevar’s directorial debut will be competing at the Forum & Forum Expanded section of the 70th edition of the German film event. This is the film’s international premiere.

‘Namo’ the name of the flick means alien.

While no synopsis for the film has been released yet, Bakhtiyar Panjehee, Sevil Shirgir, Nader Mehdilou, Nasser Hashemi, Hadi Eftekharzadeh, Firouz Aqeli and Tara Aqajani form the cast list of the flick.

ifilm star Pejman Bazeghi and Iranian star Navid Mohammadzadeh have been the investors of this cinematic project which has had Bazeghi’s wife, Mastaneh Mohajer and Tahoura Abolqasemi as producers.

The Arthood Entertainment film company is in charge of the film’s marketing and distribution.

The Forum section of the Berlinale is formed to give chance of being seen to the young filmmakers from around the world. Of the 35 films selected to attend this category of the event, 28 will have their international premiere this year.

Founded in 1951, the Berlin International Film Festival is one of the world’s leading film events which is held in Germany and celebrated annually in February.
